A jury comprising Kidjo, Pheelz, and Wiyaala selected the winning entries. The top three teams worked alongside guest artistes to re-produce their tracks in professional studios. Each of the singles was paired with a music video and will be promoted internationally. They will also be submitted for consideration in the Grammy Awards’ ‘Best Song for Social Change’ category.

In addition, 20 artistes received awards totalling $85,000. Their works were mastered and released alongside the winning entries on the new compilation.
