Swedish couture eyewear designer, Anna-Karin Karlsson (AKK), illuminated Lagos last Friday with a cabaret-themed showcase that transformed the Delborough Hotel into a jewel-toned dreamscape of theatrical glamour. Known globally for her avant-garde silhouettes, extravagant detailing, and boundary-pushing artistry, Karlsson brought her distinctive design world to West Africa in a night filled with spectacle, intimacy, and sculptural fantasy.

The event was hosted in partnership with Polo Luxury, Nigeria’s premier destination for world-class fashion and lifestyle brands. As a long-standing gateway for globally renowned houses entering the West African market, Polo Luxury continues to shape Lagos’ growing reputation as a rising global fashion capital. Their collaboration with AKK reflects the retailer’s ongoing mission to introduce exceptional craftsmanship and luxury design to new audiences.
