This year’s edition will host a number of leading creatives, cultural figures, and industry voices shaping Nollywood and the wider Nigerian creative economy.

OGWA Studios has announced the return of Games Night with Prosper Light: Big Screen Edition, scheduled to take place on 12 December 2025 at the British Council Garden in Ikoyi, Lagos. The annual cultural event blends cinema, games, and community-building into a vibrant evening celebrating African creativity.

Originally conceived as an intimate social experience, Games Night with Prosper Light was designed to bring people together through immersive games, storytelling, and shared moments. Over the years, it has grown into a recognised community event attracting young creatives, professionals, and culture enthusiasts from across Lagos. Each edition has seen the gathering evolve—from casual indoor sessions to a full-fledged cultural showcase featuring brand activations, art-centred conversations, and interactive experiences.

The Big Screen Edition builds on this momentum. This year’s programme includes the premiere of three short films from OGWA Studios, including the highly anticipated A Rainbow for Christmas. Guests will also enjoy a selection of competitive and collaborative games, light entertainment, networking opportunities, and curated brand showcases.

This year’s edition will host a number of leading creatives, cultural figures, and industry voices shaping Nollywood and the wider Nigerian creative economy. Expected attendees include Obi Asika, Chude Jideonwo, Biodun Stephen, David Lanre Messan, and James Kalu Omokwe, among others. The 2025 event is supported by the British Council Nigeria, alongside partnerships with brands such as Ulanzi, The Film Joint, Film in the Park, Gamr, MyLagosApp, Bright Eyes, and several others.

Speaking ahead of the edition, Creative Director, Prosper Light, described Games Night as “a space for community, expression, and authentic storytelling—where people gather not just to watch films, but to share in the experience”.
