British-Nigerian singer-songwriter, Gabzy, returns with a much-anticipated new single, “So Much Sense”, featuring Afro-Pop sensation, Fireboy DML. The track, released via EMPIRE, is a warm, groove-laced celebration of good energy and magnetic connection anchored in Gabzy’s signature blend of sultry R&B, Afro-Fusion, and Alté sensibilities.
Produced by AoD and The Elements, “So Much Sense” pairs shimmering synths and log-drum rhythms with Gabzy’s velvet-toned vocals and Fireboy’s distinct, emotionally rich delivery. Recorded in East London, the song marks the first official collaboration between both talented artistes.
When asked about the single, Gabzy states, “For me, “So Much Sense” is about being at a party where everything feels just right, the people, the music, the energy”.
The release follows a steady rise for Gabzy, whose genre-blending sound draws from his South East London upbringing and formative years in New York. With headline shows already sold out across six European cities and two London dates at the Roundhouse snapped up in minutes, his momentum is undeniable. He is also slated to perform at AfroNation next month, with a wider tour set for Uganda, Zambia, Kenya, the UK, Europe, and North America.
