Fuji icons K1 De Ultimate, Saheed Osupa, Obesere, and other Fuji titans are set to headline Fuji Vibrations 2025, as Fuji: A Opera marks its fifth anniversary with its most ambitious edition yet. The celebration, scheduled for Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Muri Okunola Park, Lagos, unfolds under the theme “This Is Fuji”.

Now in its milestone year, Fuji: A Opera has grown far beyond its 2020 origins as a multi-dimensional exhibition. In half a decade, it has become one of Nigeria’s defining cultural movements, preserving Fuji’s legacy, reframing its present, and cementing its relevance for younger audiences who continue to discover the genre’s sonic and aesthetic imprint on contemporary Afrobeats.

The theme, “This Is Fuji”, serves as both a reflection of the genre’s resurgence and a bold declaration of its rightful place in the global music scene. Once considered a fringe or street-rooted tradition, Fuji now sits at the centre of Nigeria’s Pop sonic architecture, shaping everything from vocal cadences to percussive patterns across mainstream music.

“Fuji is no longer on the sidelines”, said Bobo Omotayo, Creator and Founder of Fuji: A Opera. “Today, it’s the pulse behind the sound of modern Nigeria. This edition is about identity, pride, and ownership”. Last year’s concert drew over 7,000 attendees, and organisers suggest the 2025 edition will be even more immersive, melding live performance with fashion, art, and heritage for a full-sensory Fuji experience.
