American Hip-Hop star, Busta Rhymes; Tanzanian sensation, Juma Jux; and Nigerian hitmaker, Bella Shmurda, are set to headline Detty December Fest 2025, as Lagos’ premier year-end celebration returns with its most anticipated edition yet.
The festival, running from December 6 to 31, 2025, will take place across two major Lagos venues: Ilubirin, Ikoyi (Bourdillon Road), and The Livespot Entertarium, Oba Elegushi Beach Road, Lekki, bringing together multi-stage concerts, nightlife experiences, fashion and cultural showcases, culinary pop-ups, art installations, and citywide programming designed to capture the full spirit of Nigeria’s globally recognised December season.
In a landmark partnership, the Federal Government of Nigeria is collaborating with Livespot for Detty December Fest 2025. Nigeria’s Minister of Art, Culture & the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, released a message recognising Detty December Fest as a defining contributor to Nigeria’s cultural ecosystem, spotlighting its role in strengthening Nigeria’s global creative presence and attracting holiday tourism.
The endorsement marks a significant moment for the festival, cementing its position as not just entertainment but a strategic cultural export that draws international attention to Lagos during the festive season.
