Silence is Loud, a new emotionally-charged drama courtesy of Osiris Film and Entertainment, is set to premiere this week, bringing a deeply human story about stigma, silence, and the courage to speak out to audiences.

Written by Dika Ofoma (A Japa Tale, Obi Is A Boy, God’s Wife) and Taspy Gomwalk and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Abba T. Makama, Silence is Loud follows Henrietta, a passionate literature teacher and single mother, who becomes increasingly concerned about one of her students, Ayo. Once vibrant and engaged, Ayo grows withdrawn, silent, and begins to struggle academically. As rumours circulate that she has contracted HIV, Ayo becomes the target of bullying at school, rejection at home, and isolation from her community.

Amidst all these challenges, Ayo finds an unexpected source of support in Henrietta, who is grappling with her own experiences of stigma and hostility in the workplace. Their shared struggles gradually form a powerful bond—one rooted in courage, resilience, and a refusal to remain silent in the face of injustice.
