Girl group MYST, comprising MIRA, SUCRÈ, and TRELLA, announces their arrival with debut single “Dynamite”, produced by godOmarr. Released via LOOM, the track is a vibrant Afro-Pop anthem built on infectious percussion bounce and undeniable vocal chemistry, marking a deliberate return to the girl group format in contemporary Nigerian music.
The record came together with focused intention. godOmarr constructed the foundation around an infectious Afro-Pop bounce, which creates space for each member’s voice to move distinctly while maintaining unified purpose. The result is a track that feels playful and confident, with each vocalist bringing their own texture to the narrative.
When asked about the creative process, MYST describe it as work rooted in preparation and understanding. “‘Dynamite’ is about being ready”, says MYST. “It’s that feeling of knowing you’ve put in the work, trusting yourself, and not being afraid to take up space”.

Through “Dynamite”, the group captures that moment of earned readiness. The song navigates the tension between individual confidence and collective vision, as each member steps forward knowing they’ve done the work. MIRA moves with calm poise, SUCRÈ brings depth and expression, while TRELLA delivers fire and energy. Their distinct personalities create a sound that is youthful and ambitious.
For MYST, “Dynamite” marks their debut as a unified force in African music. Their emergence signals something significant: a new generation of artistes who understand that girl groups remain a powerful vehicle for storytelling and sonic innovation. As the opening statement for a wider artistic vision, the track announces a reclamation of a form long essential to pop music across the continent.
