Ghanaian megastar Shatta Wale and EGOT-winning global icon John Legend have joined forces on a new single, “Ain’t Nobody”, a feel-good anthem centred on love, loyalty, and undeniable chemistry.
Executive produced by Leslie Quaynor and released via Fantasy Entertainment Group, the track marks a significant cultural crossover, bridging Accra and Los Angeles through a blend of rhythm, romance, and sonic appeal.
Penned by Shatta Wale, John Legend, and Rob Murat, and produced by Murat alongside Sean Kantrowitz, “Ain’t Nobody” fuses nostalgic Reggae-Dancehall grooves with elements of classic R&B. The production is built on an island-inspired bounce layered with subtle Hip-Hop undertones, lush instrumentation, and harmonies that balance tradition with a contemporary edge.
The collaboration adds to Shatta Wale’s growing international profile. The Ghanaian star previously featured on “Already” alongside Beyoncé and Major Lazer, appearing on the globally acclaimed visual album Black Is King (2020), which spotlighted African artistry on the world stage. He has also worked with Dancehall icon Vybz Kartel, further expanding his influence across the global Dancehall scene.
