Tems’ award serves as her second NAACP award after last year’s win in the same category, while Lojay and Davido picked up their first.

Nigerian artistes, Tems, Lojay, and Davido, have been announced as some of the winners at the 2024 National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People (NAACP) Image Awards. The award, which was held virtually, announced Tems as the winner of the Outstanding International Song category for her record “Me and U”, while Lojay and Davido won in the Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration (Contemporary) for their contributions to Chris Brown’s “Sensational”.

Tems’ award serves as her second NAACP award after last year’s win in the same category, while Lojay and Davido picked up their first. Other winners include Victoria Monet, Kirk Franklin, H.E.R, Usher, Ciara, Megan Thee Stallion, and many others.
The 55th edition of the annual ceremony, held virtually to celebrate black excellence in art and entertainment, will broadcast the physical awards ceremony on Saturday the 16th of March, 2024, and it will be hosted by American rapper and actress, Queen Latifah.
The NAACP Image Awards is an annual ceremony organised by the National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People (NAACP). The award show is scheduled to honour outstanding performances in film, television, theatre, music, and literature. The award organisation’s members vote on the categories of the Image Awards to determine outstanding contributions in creative fields within the scope of the awards.
